Lumia, New Farm

Moments from Merthyr Village, Lumia New Farm is an intimate collection of two and three-bedroom residences defined by a considered approach to inner-urban living.

Layouts evolve as the building rises, with each residence responding to its elevation, orientation and outlook. Windows and balcony terraces are positioned to capture cooling breezes, draw in natural light and frame views across the surrounding neighbourhood.

Expressed in brick and fluted concrete, the building’s façade references the character of New Farm’s earlier apartment buildings through contemporary architectural language, while natural stone surfaces, engineered oak floorboards and custom joinery establish a warm and durable material palette throughout.

A lushly planted rooftop crowns the uppermost storey with landscaped seating and dining areas, and a communal barbeque and recreation room. From here, panoramic views extend across the suburb in every direction.

At street level, the convenience of 793 Brunswick Street's location is immediately apparent. The Brisbane River boardwalk, New Farm Park, cafés, retail, neighbourhood services and public transport are all within easy walking distance, while James Street and Howard Smith Wharves are moments away.
