1165 Darracott Rd, Vinton, MS 39773

Brick home on 11.68 acres with planted pines near public hunting and the Tombigbee River. Located on a quiet stretch of Darracott Road in Clay County, this 3-bedroom, 1.5-bathroom brick home features laminate flooring, an attached carport built into the house, and a second freestanding metal carport for extra parking. Major updates done in 2022 include a new roof, HVAC unit, 12 inches of attic insulation, new windows, interior and exterior doors, gutters, and updated appliances (refrigerator, double oven, dishwasher, washer, and dryer all stay). Outside features a large fenced backyard, a 12x20 storage building, and a disconnected water well behind the house. The 11.68 surveyed acres consist of roughly 1.5 acres of yard around the home, with the remaining ~10 acres in 23-year-old planted pines (5 acres thinned in 2023). Deer and turkey cross the property regularly, so whether you like watching wildlife or hunting, you can do it right out your front or back door. Plus, public hunting land giving access to thousands of acres is right across the road, and the Barton Ferry boat ramp on the Tombigbee River is just 2 miles away. 15 minutes to West Point and 20 minutes to Columbus.
