1717 Okana St, Kualapuu, HI 96757

Kualapuu sits up on Molokai's central plain, high enough to catch cool trade winds that the coast doesn't always get. Days are warm and sunny, evenings cool off nicely, and the breeze moves through town most of the year. It's a comfortable, easy climate to live in. This is old plantation country. Kualapuu grew up as a pineapple town when Del Monte began farming the surrounding fields in the 1920s, and generations of workers and their neighbors built a tight community here. The plantation closed in the early 1980s, but the town kept its character: quiet streets, familiar faces, and a slower pace that feels like the Molokai a lot of people remember. 1717 Okana St is right in the heart of it, just one house from Kualapuu Market, the local general store where you'll run into familiar faces on any given morning. This home needs some love and care. It's been lived in fully, and it shows. But it also holds a lot of history and a lot of memories, and the bones and location give it real potential. For the right buyer, this is a chance to put your own work and vision into a place with deep roots in one of Molokai's most authentic communities. Some details of the property may not match Maui County records. Buyer and buyer's agent are advised to conduct their own due diligence and verify all information to their satisfaction.
