37 Camino Real, Angel Fire, NM 87710

Known as Woodland Castle, this one-of-a-kind architectural masterpiece was designed and built by renowned artist Ray Renfro. Featuring over 7,000 sq. ft. of intricate artistry with a style all its own, the unbelievable level of custom detail defies description and must be seen to be truly appreciated. The home sits on over 2.5 acres of beautiful woodland and backs up to greenbelt space. The tallest peaks in New Mexico are framed like a picture from the back deck. The property is in a perfect location with the privacy and feel you're looking for in a mountain home but also just across the street from Monte Verde Lake, three minutes from the golf course, five minutes from the grocery store, and seven minutes from the ski lifts. There are four separate living areas; the main floor living room, a walkout living room downstairs, a spacious loft, and 'the pub.' The main floor living room features majestic vaulted ceilings, a towering fireplace, and a fantastic view of the mountains through the floor-to-ceiling window wall. The pub has a wet bar, an ice-maker, fireplace, and is set up for parlor games, arcade games, card games, or just catching the game on T.V. The kitchen has a standard oven and a steam oven, plenty of countertop space, tons of cabinets, and a large walk-in pantry. A highlight of the home is the four primary suites, three of which offer direct access to the decks. There is also a large bedroom/bunkroom downstairs, and an office that can be utilized as a bedroom, fitness room, crafting room... you name it! The fully furnished decks include two propane fire pit tables. There are plentiful covered areas and ample space to get some sun. The upper deck has a direct line-of-sight view of Wheeler Peak; the lower deck features an extra large hot tub. There are a lot of incredible homes but there is only one Woodland Castle, truly a marvel of creative architecture. Offered fully furnished.
